SALT LAKE CITY — The 2012 International Summit will be held on Oct. 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek, 75 South West Temple Street, in Salt Lake City.
Utah’s foreign trade representatives from Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East will be on hand.
Speakers will discuss the importance of branding a business globally and creating a presence in the international marketplace; how to best use small business resources and where to find them; the importance of Middle Eastern markets and strong economic growth in Latin America to Utah’s economy; and how global trade affects each area of the state with emphases on food, transportation, manufacturing, computer and electronic equipment and other key export markets.
The Small Business Administration will provide business support tools, according to a press release from the organization.
