FRUIT HEIGHTS — Through November, pet adoptions from Davis County Animal Control in Fruit Heights are $50.
Those interested in adopting a pet can visit the shelter weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition, animals available for adoption can be viewed by visiting the Davis County web site, daviscountyutah.gov/animal_services/adoptions.
Potential adopters are required to complete an adoption application and will be interviewed by an adoption specialist. The adoption process can normally be completed in less than an hour after a pet is selected.
