The reversal by the association gives the Leopards their wins back, but took away the team’s region title as part of the punishment by UHSAA. The association allowed the Leopards to get into the playoffs as the No. 4 seed from Region 6. East will play Mountain View Tuesday for the right to play in the first round of the playoffs Friday night.
The resulting changed decision did not change the seeding in Region 6, however. Woods Cross and Bountiful both had its records changed to 7-3 (3-2 in Region 6), however, both will retain its seeding as No. 1 and No. 2 from the region, and will still open Friday’s games at home against their respective opponents.
