FARMINGTON — A felony arraignment has been set for Dec. 4 for a Centerville man facing child sex abuse charges.
Timothy William Bothell. 43, allegedly admitted to police that he touched a preteen girl inappropriately and had her touch him, according to court documents.
He also allegedly admitted to 'accidentally' exposing himself to two girls ages 13 and 11 at least eight times, according to the court documents. The girls were friends of the Bothell family, according to police.
Bothell is charged with two first-degree felony counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child and four Class A misdemeanor counts of lewdness involving a child.
Bothell was arrested in August. Police said that his wife confronted him and that he admitted to the inappropriate sexual contact. He contacted the Utah Division of Child and Family Services, which then contacted police.
