FARMINGTON — The final election canvass approved Tuesday by the Davis County Commission revealed no significant changes from the earlier report by the County Elections Office, and no changed outcomes.
About 77.23 percent, or almost 122,000 voters of the 158,000 registered, cast ballots in the Nov. 6 election. That was about the same percentage as in the 2008 presidential election.
However, there were 14,000 more voters who took part this year.
“We have received so many emails saying the election went smoothly,” he said. “Everyone associated with the election needs to be thanked for the hard effort.”
