SALT LAKE CITY – Larkin Mortuary in Salt Lake City is currently honoring U.S. veterans during the Utah Jazz basketball season.

The mortuary service will select 10 veterans to receive special VIP treatment at a Utah Jazz game.

“This is an opportunity for us to honor veterans who have served our country,” said Spencer Larkin, CEO and vice president. “We are grateful for the many sacrifices they have made and look forward to recognizing these individuals and their accomplishments.”

Larkin is looking for nominations from residents.

Those wishing to submit an application may do so by visiting its Facebook page and posting a photo and story of their nominee on the page’s wall.

Nominations will also be accepted via email, at veterans@larkinmortuary.com.

To be eligible for selection, all nominations must contain the photo and story of a Utah veteran.
