1941-2012



Carol Ruth Brown passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 in Bountiful.

She was born January 16, 1941 in Driggs, Idaho the daughter of Virgil Christian and Ruth James Peterson. Married Mervin L. Brown, Sr. November 23, 1962.

Carol has lived in Bountiful for the last 42 years. She worked as a customer services specialist at Kmart. She was a seamstress and enjoyed crocheting and sketching. Carol was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by her husband Mervin; son Sgt Mervin L. Brown, Jr.; daughters Susan M. Cobarrubias, Deborah R. Chaudhry and Kimberly K. Brown; eight grandchildren; brothers Dennis Larsen, Kenneth Larsen, Lynn Larsen, Lee Larsen and Dee Larsen; sisters Lois Eck, Joan Douglas, LaDene Larsen, Kathy Wingfield and Tamra Green. Preceded in death by her parents and an infant son.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 at the Bountiful 15th Ward Chapel, 1250 South Main. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to any Zions Bank in Carol Brown’s name
