KAYSVILLE — One local studio is ready to dance in the season.

LaRae’s Dance Unlimited is presenting a free holiday dance performance, “Leap Into Christmas,” on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. at Davis High School.

“We wanted the chance to show off our students’ talent,” said LaRae Thackeray, head of the studio.

Local musicians Tony Thackeray and Dave Leavitt will perform before and after the show. Santa Claus will also make an appearance.

The studio is best known for their Irish Dance team, Celtic Beat. The group sponsors a Ceili, or Irish-style party, at Davis High School every March in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.

The Christmas performance, however, will show off a variety of styles. Though Irish step-dance will be included, the concert will also have performances focusing on ballet, tap and jazz styles.
