Our beautiful parents have achieved an amazing milestone. Please join us at an open house celebrating the 60th wedding anniversary of Wendell and Janice Garlick, Saturday, December 29, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Centerville 3rd Ward, 900 S. 400 East.

They met at Carbon High and have been sweethearts ever since. They were married December 17, 1952 in Wellington. Their marriage was later solemnized August 26, 1956 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They have called Centerville their home for the past 50 years.

They served in the Baguio, Philippines Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You can find them enjoying each others company, holding hands and occasionally dancing to Lawrence Welk on a Saturday evening. Our parents lovingly raised nine children and have carried on proudly, doting on their 21 grandchildren and 12 and one-half grandchildren. They are true examples of love, kindness and friendship. We are so grateful and proud of you. We love you!
