FARMINGTON – In case students need another reason to work for that A grade, Zions Bank is incentivizing them by offering $1 per A and a chance to win even more.
Through the bank’s Zions Pays for A’s program, students who bring in their most recent term-end report cards receive $1 per A deposited into their savings accounts. If they opt for cash, they’ll receive 50 cents for each A.
They are then entered to win one of 152 regional scholarship prizes worth $100 and one grand prize worth $1,000. Teens need not be customers of Zions to participate.
Jarom Barnes, a Davis High School junior, recently won a $100 scholarship savings account through the program.
“Now more than ever, Zions Bank understands it takes community support to help our teens realize good grades, and the discipline needed to earn them will have a lasting impact on their lives,” said Chantel Chase, Farmington Branch Manager.
The program is open to all Utah and Idaho students ages 13 through 18.
