SALT LAKE CITY – The Division of Motor Vehicles has made it just a little bit easier for off-road enthusiasts to register.
It has changed its registration renewal policy regarding off-highway vehicles.
The policy, which took effect on Jan. 1, brings the number of registration renewal sticker for all off-highway vehicles down to one.
Oficials with the DMV and Utah State Parks’ off-highway vehicles program hope to reduce printing costs while improving registration compliance.
The new single registration sticker should be placed on vehicles as follows
Ґ For snowmobiles, stickers should be placed on the left side of the hood, tun-nel or pan
Ґ For motorcycles, they go on the left fork, or on the left side body plastic
Ґ For all-terrain type I and type II vehicles, stickers go on the rear of the vehicle
