The Viewmont Vikings wrestling team finished second behind Pleasant Grove in the annual Bobcat Brawl wrestling tournament, held at Sky View High School in Smithfield. As a team the Vikings finished 7-1, with its only loss coming against Pleasant Grove.

Two Viewmont Vikings grapplers finished with unblemished records as Tanner Luke (120 pounds) and David Kim (126 pounds) each finished 8-0. Taylor Porath (106), Doug Schulte (160), Jake Bednar (195) and Mike Bergeron each finished 7-1, and Jordan Bagwell (170) and Bill Wakely (182) each finished 6-2 over the weekend.

Bountiful finished eighth in the tournament, with its one team win coming over Morgan, 51-21. Joey Barnett (138) finished 7-1 and Justin Horsley (132) and Garrett Ruskauff (170) each finished 6-2 during the tournament.
