FARMINGTON – Groundhog Day isn’t only about learning how long winter is going to last. That day is a Saturday this year and is also the start of the annual Davis County Library free magazine give-away.
The give-away runs Feb. 2 through Feb. 28, or whenever the supply of magazines at each library branch runs out, a library press release said.
Magazine titles are distributed in one-year bundles. Patrons can select three magazine titles each for a one-year run or one bundle each. A total of six titles is allowed per household.
A list of titles and dates of magazines being discarded at each branch will be posted at that branch.
Patrons may request discarded copies on a first-come, first-served basis. Distribution begins at 10 a.m.
All branches are participating, including South Davis in Bountiful, Centerville, Headquarters/Farmington, Kaysville, Central (Layton), North Branch (Clearfield) and Syracuse/Northwest Branch. Hours are 10 a.m. until 9 p.m., Mondays ghtough Thursdays and 10 a.m until 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
