BOUNTIFUL — A 41-year-old Bountiful soccer coach was arrested Wednesday on counts related to having a sexual relationship with a child.
Steve Dale Green was taken into custody at a gym. Police said he had a three- year relationship with a teenager that started when she was 13.
Green was booked into the Davis County Jail on first-degree felony charges of rape of a child, sodomy on a child, sexual abuse of a child, rape, sodomy and sexual abuse.
Green coached the girl’s soccer team, which was part of a private league, Koehn said. The abuse allegedly began in 2008 and continued until 2011, when the victim tried to end it. POlice could not confirm the name of the club.
