BOUNTIFUL — The Davis Youth Summit will be held Saturday, March 16, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Viewmont High School.
The purpose of the Youth Summit, according to its website, is to provide a constructive, safe event for Davis County teens to learn many prevention, safety and self-help skills; to provide opportunities for teens to engage in community service; and to provide a positive environment for networking with other teens in Davis County.
The summit is for all Davis County teens ages 13 to 18 and costs $15 and two cans of food for registration completed by Feb. 28.
The itinerary will include a keynote speaker, breakout sessions and several service projects. A stomp will follow dinner and include a bounce-house party.
Viewmont High School, 120 W. 1000 North in Bountiful, will be a closed campus the day of the summit.
Buses will pick up students at Clearfield, Layton, Northridge and Davis high schools.
