An Eagle Court of Honor will be held for Andrew Ronald Messer at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 165 S. 1000 E., Bountiful, on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 3 p.m.

Andrew is a member of the Salt Lake City Scout Council Troop 262. Andrew, a senior at Bountiful High, is involved in band and DECA. Andrew began his scouting experience as a Cub Scout when he was seven-years-old.

For his Eagle service project he organized a project of painting signs, kiosks and the reclamation of the playground area at Mueller Park. The project included weed removal and spreading new sand, requiring many hours of labor. With the help of a number of volunteers, Andrew was able to complete the project which made the park a more beautiful, weed-free and safe environment.
