Phillip R. (Bob) and Klea Ann Moon will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary this month. They were married in Farmington on March 16, 1963. They are going to celebrate by traveling to different parts of the country to visit family.

They have lived their entire married life in Davis County.

Bob grew up in Farmington, graduating from Davis High School in 1957. After graduating, he attended the University of Utah on a football scholarship. He then joined the United States Marine Corps and served three years in various parts of the United States, Okinawa and Japan. He worked many years in the road construction business, retiring in 2001. He enjoys playing golf and fishing.

Klea grew up in Layton, graduating from Davis High School in 1957. After graduating she went to work for a local title insurance company. She worked there for many years and then went to work at Barnes Banking Company, retiring in 2001. She enjoys playing golf, bridge and reading.

Bob and Klea both love watching their grandchildren play various sports. They love the Boston Red Sox and watch every game (some of them in Fenway Park, if they are really fortunate).

Their children and spouses are: Jenifer Moon and Cynthia (Steve) Edwards. Their grandchildren are Andrew (Allison) Reese, Robert Reese, Morgan Thurgood, Lauren Taylor and Miles Edwards. Their great-grandchildren are Aizlinn Reese and Aria Reese.
