Whitney Leigh Ricks and Mark Benjamin Hartshorn will be married Friday, March 15, 2013 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception will be held that evening at the Lion House.

Whitney is the daughter of Lyndon and Elizabeth Ricks of Centerville. She graduated from Viewmont High School and went on to earn a degree in psychology from Brigham Young University. She is employed at Center for Change in Orem. While at BYU she participated in study abroad programs in London and in Jerusalem.

Ben is the son of Mark and Ann Hartshorn of Orem. He graduated from Timpanogos High School and will graduate from BYU this year with a degree in finance. Ben served an LDS mission in Pittsburgh, Pa. He also participated in the Jerusalem Study Abroad program, which is where he and Whitney met.

Whitney and Ben will have a brief honeymoon at the Zermatt Resort in Midway and will take a honeymoon cruise in May. The couple will then reside in New York City where Ben will be employed by Citigroup.
