BOUNTIFUL — A benefit concert for the Joy Foundation is trying for round two.
After January’s freezing rains forced a cancellation of the original concert, the event has been rescheduled for March 16 at 7 p.m. at the Wight House in Bountiful. Musicians Cherie Call and Dallyn Van Bayles will perform.
“It’s definitely still happening,” said Spencer Lund, who organized the event.
The event will also include the unveiling of the design for a mural by the students of artist Kirt Harmon. The mural will be painted on the back of the Joy Foundation’s new building, located on 38 W. and 400 South in Bountiful. The benefit will help the non-profit foundation get established in the new building.
Tickets are $5 per person and $20 per family, though additional donations are welcome. The Wight House is located at 95 North Main Street in Bountiful.
