CLEARFIELD — The Utah Department of Transportation is reporting that beginning Tuesday, April 9, soubthbound Main Street at 700 South in Clearfirld will be closed. The intersection will be turned into a culdesac while the work goes on, according to a press release from UDOT.
The agency recommends using Center Street and 200 South as alternatives, but says that 700 South between the train tracks and the entrance of the Freeport Center will have both lanes shifted to the south, also beginning April 9.
Between today, April 5 and Wednesday, April 11, the UTA trail in Clearfield will also be closed between Center and Main streets. The trail will be closed through the summer of 2014, according to UDOT.
