OGDEN — Jon M. Huntsman, Jr., will deliver the keynote address to 2,889 candidates for graduation at Weber State University’s commencement on Friday, April 26.
The academic processional will begin at the Dee Events Center at 8 a.m. Following the keynote address, individual convocations for each WSU academic college will take place at various locations around campus, starting at 10:30 a.m.
Huntsman, former governor of Utah and current chairman of the Huntsman Cancer Foundation, will be awarded an honorary degree. Similar degrees will be awarded to Sid W. Foulger, Karen Lofgreen and Beverley Taylor Sorenson.
Parking on campus will be free throughout the day.
