FARMINGTON A man who pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child was sentenced to 210 days in the Davis County Jail on each count.

Charles Sherman Price, 65, of Henderson, Nev., was also sentenced to five years’ probation.

Second District Court Judge David Hamilton suspended sentences of one to 15 years in the Utah State Prison on each count during the hearing last week.

Price has been diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorder. He was diagnosed while he was receiving sex offender treatment.

Syracuse Police arrested Price in August, 2012, after two girls, ages 9 and 13, told police Price had inappropriately touched them. The incidents occurred sometime between Nov. 24, 2011 and Dec. 30, 2011, while Price was visiting the area.

In court, Price’s attorney Mark Moffat said his client struggled throughout his life with the disorder, but was able to provide for his family.
