Family History Library offers classes

SALT LAKE CITY — The LDS Family History Library is offering two all-day series of classes on Saturday, May 4.

Classes on Mid-Atlantic States research will run from 9:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., in the main floor classroom of the library.

Topics for the classes include: New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

Classes on Norwegian research will be offered from 9:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the B1 classroom on the first lower level of the library.

Topics include “Basic Elements of Norwegian Research,” “Vital Records of Norway,” and “Emigration and Printed Sources.”

Schedules for both series may be viewed online at familysearch.org/locations/library_class_schedule.

The library is located at 35 N. West Temple in Salt Lake City. On Saturday, parking is free to library patrons behind the Church History Museum.
