KAYSVILLE — Nannette is the mother of three, a full-time career woman and a busy volunteer for her church and community.
Eight years ago, she nursed her husband back to health after three surgeries forced him to be bedridden for months. During that time, she managed to move her family from Idaho to Kaysville.
“Most mothers would find difficulty acclimating to the stresses of a new home, new surroundings and medical issues,” her husband Korey wrote in his nomination letter. “Not Nannette. She was able to move in advance of her husband and for several weeks organized and planned the move, schooling and planting of the family in this wonderful city.”
Though her kids have grown, they still use Nannette’s home as a “landing zone.”
“I stand in awe at her ability to inspire the children through their trials, bruised knees and successes,” Korey writes.
