Dems, GOP elect county officers

BOUNTIFUL — The Davis County Republican Party held elections for the state convention on Saturday, June 1 and elected several people to represent the county in that capacity.

They are Kris Kimball, Todd Weiler, Peter Cannon, Don Guymon, Scott Balaich, Keith Major, Rusty Cannon, Dalane England, Kathleen Anderson, Marilyn Stevens, Hanna Scharf, Michelle Scharf, Janice Legler, Phill Wright and Lisa Bingham.

Wright was also elected as chairman of the county party, and Bingham was elected as vice chair. Anderson will serve as secretary and Major will be treasurer.

David Crittenden, of Davis County, will be treasurer at the state level, according to election results.

Davis County Democrats also held their county convention on May 18. Its newly Elected county officers are Pam Udy, who will serve as chair, Geoff Partain, as vice chair, Lynn Anderson, as secretary and Kevin Nagle as treasurer.
