BOUNTIFUL — A pair of volleyball standouts from south Davis County have signed on to play college volleyball for Utah State University next season.
Davis High School outside hitter Kaylie Kamalu and Viewmont High School opposite side hitter Kayla DeCoursey are two of the seven volleyball players signed by the Aggies, and will join Sky View graduate Maddie Day as the three Utah representatives on the team next season.
Kamalu was on the Davis team that won the 5A state title in 2011, and she guided the team to a third place finish this season.
Kamalu and the Darts finished the 2012 season with 32 wins, the most in the entire state.
DeCoursey helped the Lady Vikings volleyball team reach 20 wins in 2012 and finish as the No. 3 seed in Region 2 this season.
