WOODS CROSS — The lists are out for the top baseball and boys’ soccer players in the state, and it includes plenty of local names.

The All-State teams are chosen by the coaches of the 5A and 4A classifications for their respective sports, and are broken down into first, second, and honorable mention teams for the respective sport.

The following is a list of the locals named to the 4A and 5A All-State baseball and boys’ soccer teams:

5A baseball first team:

Zac Fuller, a senior at Davis: hit .354 and had five home runs.

Bronson Larsen, a senior at Davis: hit nine home runs and 13 doubles for the Darts.

Second team: Isaac Evans, a senior at Viewmont; Jackson Peacock, a senior at Davis.

Third team: Parker Taggart, a senior at Viewmont.

4A baseball first team:

Ryan Curtis, a junior at Bountiful: hit .468 and had four triples for the Braves.

Ricky Medrano, a senior at Bountiful: 1.80 ERA and a 5-3 record. Also had 56 strikeouts.

Second team: Brady Cowley, a senior at Woods Cross; Shaden Fisher, Junior, Woods Cross.

Honorable Mention: Josh Hunt, a senior at Woods Cross; Ryan Stringfellow, a junior at Bountiful.

5A soccer first team:

Mike Johnson, a junior at Viewmont: scored 10 goals for the Vikings this season.

Honorable Mention: Mitch Parkinson, A senior at Davis

4A soccer MVP:

Josh Ludlow, a senior at Bountiful: Ludlow had four shutouts this season, and had many other key saves that propelled the Braves to its first state title since 2008.

5A soccer first team: Kaleb Maynard, a senior at Bountiful: scored six goals to lead the team.

Tristan Booth, a senior at Bountiful: was one of four Braves with five goals on the season.

Cesar Duenas, a senior at Bountiful: scored key playoff goals during Bountiful’s run to the State 4A title.

Second team: Ethan Cope, a senior at Woods Cross.

Honorable mention: Bryce Carey, a senior at Bountiful; David Higginson, a senior at Bountiful.
