FARMINGTON – Public comment will be taken by the Wasatch Front Regional Council on the 2014-2019 Transportation Improvement Plan and four amendments to 2011-2040 Regional Transportation Plan through Aug. 3.

Three open houses will be held during the comment period to offer information and receive comment on the draft TIP and the amendments.

The first open house will be held on Thursday, July 18 at the Farmington Library Conference Room, 133 S. Main, from 3:30 to 6 p.m.

Other open houses will be on Monday, July 22, in the Weber County Commissioners breakout room at the Weber County Government Center, 2380 Washington Blvd., from 3-5:30 p.m. and on Thursday, Aug. 1, at the Salt Lake County Government Center, North Building Atrium, 2001 S. Comments may also be submitted to Sam Klemm at sam@wfrc.org or by mail to WFRC, 295 N. Jimmy Doolittle Road, Salt Lake City, 84116.

Following the comment period, the plans will be considered for adoption by the Wasatch Front Regional Council at its Aug. 22 meeting.
