KAYSVILLE –  Three- year-old Raenalynn Brock doesn’t know it, yet, but she’s going to be showered with attention from many sources on Saturday.

The Kaysville child, who has terminal brain cancer, will be feted at an open house party, from 3-6 p.m., at Syracuse’s Fremont Park, 1950 S. 3000 West.

“It’s been a long few months,” said family friend Ashley Holmes, who is coordinating the event. The little girl has undergone radiation and chemotherapy as part of her treatment.

Many businesses are coming together to make the day special for Raenalynn, Holmes said. There will be a big castle bounce house and slide, birthday party atmosphere complete with Disneyland princesses, a big cake, free professional photogaphy and manicures.

There will also be a drawing and auction.

The guest of honor also will ride in the Syracuse Heritage Days Parade that morning, Holmes said.

“It will be a surprise for her,” she said adding, “she’s like a daughter to me.”
