The games, being played at the Larry H. Miller softball complex, are meant to be a part of the Pioneer Days celebration along with the Utah Softball Hall of Fame inductions, which are taking place next Friday, July 12.

Among the 14 new inductees present for the Hall of Fame induction will be Layton’s Leonard “Odell” Kirk, the only Davis County representative.

Other inductees are Tommy Bahan, Mark Baldwin, Debbie Butler, Arnold “A.J.” Christensen, Ivan Christensen, Lynn Christensen, Terry Jordan, Mel Moon, Ron Nelson, Lisa Parker, Jim Peacock, Carma Pedersen, and Sharon Seppi.

The induction ceremony will be followed by the Larry H. Miller Memorial Pioneer Days Men’s Fastpitch Tournament.
