Improv comedian Wayne Brady will be coming to Davis County Aug. 7 at 8 p.m. at the Ed Kenley Amphitheater in Layton. Brady, best known as a performer on “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” and host of “Let’s Make A Deal,” will create brand-new laughs with the help of people in attendance.
“He does an interactive show,” said Kirt Bateman, executive director of the Davis Arts Council. “He’ll write songs that night from audience suggestions.”
Improv comedy uses input from other performers and the audience to create mini-skits live onstage. While on “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” Brady would regularly create snippets for several original songs for fake compilation albums celebrating everything from cleaning products to beekeeping.
Brady was also the host of “Don’t Forget the Lyrics,” and has appeared in TV shows such as “How I Met Your Mother.”
General admission tickets to the show are $34, while reserved seats are $49. To purchase tickets or for more information, visit www.davisarts.org.
