NORTH SALT LAKE – The Davis Educational Foundation Board and Ensign Engineering & Land Surveying have combined efforts to support a good cause.
The duo has put together the “Fore Kids” Golf Classic, being played on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at Eaglewood Golf Course in North Salt Lake. The event, in its first year, is meant to help raise money to support schools in the Davis School District, and all of the proceeds from the event will be donated.
The Davis Education Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides financial support and resources to classrooms, students and programs within the Davis School District, according to a press release from the foundation.
The cost of the tournament is $50 per player and includes three “mulligans,” six prize tickets, a licorice rope and participation in a Par 3 Shootout with a $500 prize.
Sponsorship levels are also being accepted, and range from “School Store” ($500) to “High School” ($3,000).
