No primaries in West Bountiful, North Salt Lake

WOODS CROSS — With only four candidates running for two city council  spots and two mayoral candidates, Woods Cross will not have a primary election.

Candidates for council include: Tamra Dayley, and incumbent; Ryan Larsen; James Sheldon; and, Ryan Westergard, also an incumbent.

Mayoral candidates are councilmember Rick Earnshaw and Mayor Kent Parry, who hopes to defend his seat.

With only five candidates running for three positions, North Salt Lake will not hold a primary election. 

For mayor, incumbent Len Arave will face off against Ryan Macfarlane. 

For the two city council positions, incumbent Matt Jensen will face off against Ryan Mumford and James Emery Hill. Mumford has served on the North Salt Lake Planning Commission. 

Stewart Harmon, whose term will expire this coming January, is not running for reelection.
