CLEARFIELD – The Pioneer Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking new ways to help adults with special needs find a place in society.

Robert Daniels, CEO of PARC, and his associates, addressed the Davis School Board last month about several programs now coordinated by PARC.

The center is coordinating Pathways to Careers, a national pilot program that allows center staff to spend time with disabled students to determine their interests and strengths, then match them with internships in hopes of helping them find permanent employment.

PARC has also opened a restaurant at Hill AFB called Runway Ruby’s, which helps students learn about cooking and serving.

More information about these and other programs can be found online at parc-ut.org.
