Editor,

A year ago, amid talk of a new city hall, I went to the present hall. There were three persons working there, one at the entrance and two in a side room. The premises were well kept, and large enough. It was more than adequate. Now the price of the new hall has gone from $6.6 million to $10 million.

There is enough cash to pay, in the redevelopment fund. Where is the money kept? Who owns it?

Fred Moss has been correct all the time. A new building is not necessary or advisable!

I say, “Cancel the entire project,” and let’s get the council to do so.

Eugene L. Kimball,

Bountiful

Dean Collinwood is a lobbyist for a non-governmental special interest group that wants Bountiful City to build him a $4,000,000 building. Not going to happen. Deal with it!
