FARMINGTON — A man who allegedly purchased alcohol and tobacco for teenagers in exchange for nude photos pleaded not guilty to 23 charges last week.

David Thor Oliver, 40, of West Point, entered his pleas to 18 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, two class A misdemeanor charges of sexual battery and three class B misdemeanor charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor in 2nd District Court on Thursday, Aug. 22.

Oliver was arrested in April 2012, after Davis County Sheriff’s detectives received a report from Child Protective Services regarding the sexual abuse. Several juveniles were interviewed, and officers were allegedly told the teens were sending nude photographs to Oliver
