Shelbi Tyteca three 9 1/3 innings of no-hit softball but Viewmont fell to Syracuse 1-0 in 11 innings. Tyteca finished the game with 23 strikeouts while allowing just one hit. Syracuse super sophomore Ashley Ostler got the win going 11 innings and only giving up five hits. She finished with five striokeouts and most more important the victory.

The Braves exploded in the final innings of the game to improve to 8-1 in Region 5.

The Lady Cats exploded for 12 hits as they doubled up Sky View.
