That means fall cleanup for people throughout south Davis.
In Bountiful, fall cleanup is sceduled from Oct. 7 through Oct. 11.
During that week, city crews will remove trash and refuse that has been properly bundled bagged or boxed on residents’ regular garbage day. Bundles, boxes and limbs cannot exceed 50 pounds. Items should be put out by 7 a.m. Furniture and appliances should be placed on the drive approach or park strip, not on the street or sidewalk.
Bountiful will also conduct a household hazardous waste collection on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the city’s maintenance facility, 950 S. 200 West.
Centerville is providing fall cleanup to residents on a prepaid registration basis.
The city will pick up debris that is boxed, bundled or in containers and furniture and appliances on Saturday, Oct. 12 beginning at 6 a.m. Items to be picked up must be placed on the curb Friday evening.
North Salt Lake will hold its Fall cleanup open house from Thursday, Oct. 17 through Sunday. Oct. 20.
Dumpsters will be placed at Hatch Park, 50 W. Center Street, Fox Hollow Park, 655 N. Fox Hollow Drive and at the Eaglewood Clubhouse, 1110 E. Eaglewood Drive.
Residents are asked to keep their regular waste and green waste separate. North Salt Lake will not accept large appliances or furniture.
Fall cleanup for Woods Cross is set for Saturdays, Oct. 5 and 12 from 9 a.m. to noon, and Monday, Oct. 5 through Friday, Oct. 11 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily. Residents may deliver items meeting Waste Management and Recovery District (burn plant) regulations to the city shops, 1490 S. 1800 West, during those times.
Items that can be discarded there include household products and furnishings, demolition debris, tires, railroad ties and pallets. Unacceptable items include typical daily household waste, liquid or chemical waste, chemicals, hazardous material and batteries.
Woods Cross City crews will pick up branches and limbs to be chipped on Nov. 11. Fill out a request form for service at woodscross.com.
In West Bountiful, Fall cleanup wil be Oct. 5 through Oct. 12. People who live there can drop off yard waste, scrap metal and other miscellaneous materials at West Bountiful City Park in the North Parking Lot. Officials will check driver’s licenses to ensure residency status, according to the city’s September newsletter.
Woods Cross and West Bountiful residents should take green waste to the Bountiful landfill, located at 1300 W. 1600 North in West Bountiful. Through October, that landfill will be open from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
