LAYTON — Interstate 15 at Hill Field Road will be restricted to two lanes through the weekend, causing expected traffic delays of between 15 and 25 minutes.

The Utah Department of Transportation is rehabilitating bridge decks beginning Friday evening at 8 p.m. through Monday morning at 6 a.m., according to a UDOT press release.

Moderate to heavy traffic congestion is expected.

Motorists should consider using a north-south combination of U.S. 89 and I-84 in Davis and Weber counties. Local state roads such as Main Street and Hill Field Road are also expected to be congested.

Those traveling from the USU — BYU game in Logan on Saturday afternoon are advised to consider using eastbound I-84 in Riverdale (Exit 340) to southbound US-89 (Exit 87) in Uintah as an alternate route.  Motorists using this route will regain south-bound I-15 or the Legacy Parkway in Farmington.
