Frank was born in Boston, Mass., to Felice and Giacinta Ferrante. After attending high school he enlisted in the Marine Corps as a private and served 24 years, retiring in 1973 as a major. He served in Japan/Okinawa and Vietnam and traveled to many places around the world. After retiring he worked for Murdock Chevrolet as its controller for 33 years. At the present time he is chairman of the board of trustees, Mutton Hollow Improvement District, an officer in American Legion Post 27, Farmington, and serves in the Bountiful Temple.
Beverly was born in Kaysville to William R. and Mamie C. Perkins. She was a full-time homemaker while her children were young then worked at Candy Campus Children’s Center of which she and her husband were co-owners with their daughter and son-in-law. She served in the Ogden Temple for 15 years.
They are active members of the LDS Church and serve in various ward and stake positions. Their interests are spending time with their children and grandchildren and attending Jazz games. They have had the opportunity to travel to many places throughout the world.
Their children are Chris (Jim) Mercer, West Point; Debbie (Jeff) Herr, Dubai UAE; Ellie (Kurt) Wood, Fruit Heights; and Jon (MaLinda), Kaysville. A niece, Susan Anderson, lived with them for many years. They have 11 wonderful grandchildren and nine special little great-grandchildren.
