Mayoral candidate Len Arave
Mayoral race

Len Arave

I will work with residents to continue making North Salt Lake a happy, healthy and safe place to live. Under my administration, we have resolved the Springhill landslide, expanded parks, put in a pedestrian light for Camelot, improved our water resourcing and kept our city in a strong financial position.  In my next term, we will continue to work to improve our freeway interchanges, increase shopping alternatives west of I-15 and along Highway 89 and find a workable solution for the Stericycle issue.  For more information, go to my web site at

North Salt Lake is a great place to live and over the last four years I have worked hard to keep it that way.  We updated the master plan to create a clear vision for the future of the city.  I implemented the NSL Live activities to foster a better sense of community in our city.  And we have improved the city services that we provide with an excellent police force, curb-side recycling, and procurement of secondary water for the Eaglewood Golf Course.  There is still much to do and I am still the right candidate to do it.

Ryan Mumford

I love North Salt Lake.  I grew up here.  I chose to buy a home and raise my family here.  I want North Salt Lake to continue to be the amazing city I have loved my entire life.  I will work to help the Foxboro area get a commercial center or grocery store.  Stericycle, a medical waste burn plant, is hampering development in the area.  I plan on ensuring the city remains fiscally responsible.  I will focus on providing better communication between our city and our residents
