SALT LAKE CITY – Davis County residents are invited to attend Worship Without Borders, a service in the style of the Global Day of Prayer, on Oct. 26 at 7 p.m.
The service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 203 S. 200 East, in Salt Lake City, and will feature different ethnic groups worshipping in their own languages, open prayer times and music, according to Tom McClenahan, director of the Vine Institute, sponsor of the service.
“Last week people around me were praying in Arabic, English, French, Khmer, Kinyarwanda, Spanish and Twi,” McClenahan said. “Come join us this Saturday in your language.”
The Vine Institute equips Christian leaders and celebrates God’s diverse people to strengthen churches in Utah.
