Bountiful — Dick Peck, 76, passed away October 21, 2013. He was born December 15, 1936, in Salt Lake City to Dell R. Peck and Rose Bruehl. He attended Bountiful High, where he met and later married Judy, (his sweetheart for 57 years), had a career with Utah Paper Box Company for many years, later started his company, Pecks Pallets, with his wife Judy, which he later retired from.

He had a great love for his family, friends, and life, all family gatherings, and any opportunity where he could be with his children and grandchildren, always making family his first priority. He loved spending time at his cabin in the Uintahs and his property in Arizona. He was always surrounded by his friends. He was full of energy, always kept himself busy, extremely independent.

He was easily satisfied with just the simple pleasures in life. He enjoyed golfing with his family and friends, his years spent on bowling leagues, traveling, working in his yard and Super Bowl gatherings. His quick wit, sense of humor and ready smile will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Gone to the 19th Hole.

He is survived by his wife, Judy (Armstrong); brothers, Dell, Roy and Jay; children Scott, Missy (Mike) Howell, Susie (Tracy) Nye, Polly (Bryan) Narramore, Sherri (John) Jacobson, 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother, Larry and siste,r Kathryn Romijn.

A viewing will be held Saturday, October 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main St., Bountiful. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 S. 200 W. Online guestbook at
