1941-2013



Memorial services were held at the American Legion Post 22 in Golden Valley, AZ. at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2013. “Mac” was born in Youngstown, Ohio on July 25, 1941. He was the son of the late George and Dorothy McNamee.

He was a veteran of the US Navy, a life time member of the American Legion,VFW and the Disabled Veterans of America. He served as Canteen Manager of the VFW in Lake Havasu and Bar Manager at the Legion in Golden Valley.

He is survived by his wife Paulette; daughter Denise (Bryce) Quilter, Bountiful; son Charles Edward Basil (Jennifer) McNamee, Salt Lake City; Daniel Joseph (Missy) McNamee, Salt Lake City; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; brother James William McNamee, Fayetteville, PA; sister, Dorothy Pope, Springdale, AR. He was preceeded in death by two brothers: Robert George McNamee and Thomas Eugene McNamee.
