Parking restrictions go into effect

BOUNTIFUL – Winter weather means overnight parking restrictions for all south Davis cities. 

Restrictions vary by city, but most prohibit leaving vehicles on streets for more than 30 minutes during overnight hours.

The following is a list of cities and the restrictions in each.

Ґ In Bountiful, overnight parking restrictions began on Nov. 1 and will be enforced through March 31, between 2 and 6 a.m. or anytime it’s snowing.

Ґ Centerville’s overnight parking ordinance goes into effect on Nov. 15 and continues through April 15m, between the hours of 1 and 6 a.m.

Ґ Farmington’s overnight parking restrictions also began on Nov. 15 and will run through Feb. 28 from 1 to 7 a.m.

Ґ North Salt Lake’s parking restrictions began on Nov. 1 and will continue through April 1 from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Ґ In West Bountiful, parking restrictions go into effect on Nov. 15 and run through April 1 from midnight to 7 a.m.

Ґ In Woods Cross, parking restrictions began on Nov. 1 and will run through March 31 from 1 to 6 a.m.

In most cities, vehicles in violation could be cited, even if it’s not snowing.

The restrictions are in place to facilitate snow removal.
