WOODS CROSS - Woods Cross Police were busy investigating a robbery at the Utah First Federal Credit Union, 1520 S. 500 West, that took place today just before 1 p.m.

Police got the call of the robbery at 12:51 p.m., according to Woods Cross Police Officer Chris Hoffman. The suspect handed the teller a note demanding money.

Polie say the teller handed an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect who then left the building on foot. No weapon was displayed and no one was injured.

Police described the suspect as a white male between 35 and 45 years of age, about 5 foot 6 inches tall, weighing 160-170 pounds. He was wearing a fake mustache and a '49ers cap, according to a tweet by Woods Cross Police.

Hoffman  said investigators didn't immediately have information concerning a getaway vehicle.

Shortly after the robbery, police were seen pursuing a car northbound on 500 West.

After stopping the driver, they discovered it was not the robbery suspect.
