New Bountiful mayor to be sworn in Jan. 6

BOUNTIFUL – Randy Lewis will be sworn in as Bountiful's newest mayor Monday at noon.

The ceremony will take place at noon in the council chambers at city hall, 726 N. 100 East.

There will be time for comments by outgoing officials, swearing in of newly-elected officials and comments by newly-elected officials.

A reception will follow.

Also being sworn in are new council members Kendalyn Harris and John Pitt. Fred Moss did not win re-election and Tom Tolman, who served for three terms over 12 years, did not seek re-election.

Lewis replaces outgoing mayor Joe Johnson, who did not seek re-election for a fourth term.
