HOLLYWOOD - The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the nominations for its Oscars Awards on Thursday.

American Hustle and Gravity led all films with ten nominations each. 12 Years a Slave followed with 9 nominations. A total of nine films were nominated for Best Picture.
