FARMINGTON - A man who allegedly exposed himself to a 4-year-old in the Layton Target earlier this month pleaded not guilty to 10 felony counts and two misdemeanor counts.
Miles Brent Blakeley, 23, was in 2nd District Court last week where he entered his plea to 10 second-degree felony counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and two class A misdemeanor counts of lewdness involving a child.
Blakeley was arrested on Feb. 10 at the Layton Lowe’s where he was working.
A mother called Layton police to report her daughter told her a man had exposed himself while the two were shopping at Target earlier in the day. Police then reviewed surveillance video from Target and other businesses in the area and allegedly identified Blakeley as the perpetrator.
He was later found at Lowe’s and taken into custody. Police say they found a cell phone that allegedly contained explicit videos and photos of minors.
During their investigation, police say they were able to identify another child who they believe Blakeley exposed himself to.
Blakeley is being held in the Davis County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
He will be back in court on March 6.
