Quilter’s Attic open house is Saturday

BOUNTIFUL – A new shop on Orchard Drive, the Quilter’s Attic, has opened its doors and is celebrating with an open house Saturday.

A ribbon cutting is set for 9:45 a.m. The store will be open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. an is at 2155 S, Orchard Drive 

Authors an designers will be visiting from several lines. Several demonstrations are planned, door/prize drawings will be held and there will be refreshments. 

The store is owned and staffed by three quilting enthusiasts, Linda Edminster, Carla Gray and Gayle Turville. 

It offers 100 percent cotton fabrics, wools and flannels in a wide variety of designs and colors from well-known fabric designers. Tools and supplies are also available, plus books, patterns and magazines. 

A long-arm quilting machine is available to handle all types and sizes of quilts, a press release from the store said. Classes for all levels of quilting ability will be offered, as well, along with clubs and quilters’ guild groups.
